Helloo everyone! Today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the Body Shop Tea Tree range which I’ve been using for a few months now. I know the Body Shop is a really popular go to for skin care, offering so many different ranges, so to be honest I have no idea why I haven’t tried it earlier… I wish I did!
I use this face wash mostly twice a day, morning and just before bed, and I just love how refreshing it feels. The tea tree is very cool and tingly, which is great in the mornings especially the ones where you still feel half asleep and need something to give you a bit of a boost haha. The only thing is it’s quite thick and can be quite hard to spread on your face. When I first tried out the range I used their tea tree foaming cleanser but it was sold out at the store so I tried the gel wash instead. If you prefer a cleanser thats not as thick then I definitely would go for the foam wash. Overall, I really like the cleanser and my skin is the clearest it has been for months now. Of course I still get the occasional break out but I’ve noticed I don’t get single spots as often as I used too.
Alongside the cleanser I’ve been using the mattifying toner. I am definitely not a skincare expert, but toners are one of those things where I’m like is it actually doing anything or does it just feel nice on my skin haha. It has a very strong scent of tea tree which I love and it feels so cool and refreshing just like the face wash. It does leave my face feeling very clean and I feel like it must be doing something due to less breakouts. I would say that sometimes after using it my skin can feel like its crying out for moisturiser and so sometimes I’ll only use it once a day to stop my skin from drying. I have mainly oily type skin so it might be a lil harsh for sensitive or dry skin.
I’m leaving my favourite till last here with their clay mask. I have tried so many face masks and most of the time my skin feels nice and clean after I’ve used it but then not long after my skin just feels the exact same. So I was a lil skeptical about whether this would do anything but I love it! As soon as you put it on you get a really cool feeling which feels nice and after washing it off, my skin feels so soft and after several uses it has really helped reduce the look of blackheads especially on my nose. I have been using the mask about 2-3 times a week and I will keep buying it over and over again! In the past I have bought some pretty pricey face masks that I didn’t think did much so with this being £11 I think it’s a steal. I’ve also had a pot for about 2 months now and I’ve still got lots left, so a little goes a long way!
That’s all of the Tea Tree products I have tried so far, but I think I may have to get my hands on some more of the range when I’m next passing by.
What are your go to skincare products?? Any favourites from the Body Shop? Let me know 🙂
